    • Tucson is located in the state of Arizona. It is the second largest city in Arizona after Phoenix. It was founded in 1775 and incorporated as a city in 1853.
      Located amidst beautiful desert setting, Tucson has several outdoor attractions and entertainment facilities. Some of the prominent places of historic interest in the city are the historic districts of El Presidio, Armory Park, and Barrio Historico. Although there are numerous restaurants in the city offering a wide range of ethnic as well as traditional American cuisine they are most famous for the Southwestern Cuisine and regional specialties.
      Since the city is situated very close to the desert it experiences sunshine almost throughout the year with little rain. The climate is generally dry in the city.
      Tucson International Airport is the major commercial airport in the city. The airport operates regular flights to many cities across United States and abroad.
